Two years ago, I began my journey as an IT Communicator (ITC) at Linnoedge, and I started with a simple question:
What truly creates value in a technology company?
For me, the answer has never been just technology. An IT Communicator stands between clients and developers, helping both sides understand each other and work toward the same goal. Over these two years I have come to see that role as a bridge.
A bridge does more than connect two places. It brings people closer, shortens distances, and creates new opportunities. We believe technology should do the same.
Looking back over the past two years, we have realized that what matters most is not how many systems we have built. It is how many meaningful connections we have created.
Technology Only Matters When It Solves Real Problems
Many people think software development is about writing great code or using the latest technologies.
But the more projects we have worked on, the more we have realized that our clients are not looking for complexity. They are looking for solutions that truly fit their business challenges.
And every great solution starts with one thing: listening.
Understanding our clients’ goals, their day-to-day operations, and the challenges they face is always the first step before building any product. Our system development work starts there too. The specification comes out of those conversations; it does not come before them.
Every Bridge Is Built on Trust
A bridge only serves its purpose when people are willing to cross it. The same is true in business.
Every project brings together people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. What enables long-term collaboration is not just technical expertise. It is trust.
Trust is not built through big promises. It is built through small, consistent actions:
- Clear and honest communication.
- Working together to find the best solution.
- Being proactive when challenges arise.
- Continuously learning and improving.
Bridging More Than Technology
When we think about a bridge, we do not just think about connecting businesses with technology. We think about connecting:
Perhaps that is what makes our work so rewarding. Every project is an opportunity to build a new connection.
Two Years Is Just the Beginning
Looking back, we do not see these two years as a finish line. Instead, they remind us to keep asking one simple question:
Are we truly living up to the meaning behind the name IT Communicator?
It is a question we hope will continue to guide us in the years ahead.
Because in the end, technology is not about complexity.
It is about helping people connect more easily, helping businesses grow with confidence, and turning great ideas into meaningful reality.
That is the kind of bridge we aspire to build today, tomorrow, and for many years to come.
